Our client is Currently recruiting for a Skilled CNC Miller to join a growing team. We are currently looking for a flexible shift worker to set-up, programme, and operate their Milling Machines.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Competent to operate CNC 4 & 5 Axis milling machines; operate controls, adjusting wear offsets, manual data input.
• To set-up machines accurately to ensure repeatability
• Read programs, edit existing programs
• Ability to read detailed engineering drawings
• Comprehensive use of measuring equipment (Venires, Micrometres, Gauges, Shadowgraphs etc.)
• Good understanding of Tooling & fixturing
• Have the ability to work unsupervised in line with customer deadlines and problem solve
• Have the ability to consistently maintain high levels of quality
• Take the opportunity to demonstrate, and be rewarded for, high standards, in a modern, clean environment using well-maintained machines
• Develop your skills on a supportive shop floor committed to continuous improvement,
• Work within a team whilst having accountability for your own quality and output
• Follow good manufacturing practice and health & safety protocols
• Show clear drive to promote the maximisation of production output and the common goal to promote full section machine utilisation
• Work in a team, assisting their colleagues and contributing to a company goal of being the best in the business

Hours:
2 shifts – rotational.
Shift 1: Mon – Fri 6-2.
Shift 2: Mon – Thurs 1-11, Friday off. (Shift allowance of x1.25)

Lots of overtime available paid at x1.50
