Do you want to work for a large engineering firm with some of best facilities in the UK? Our client have modern facilities and are growing year on year. They are now looking to recruit a Process Improvement/ Production Engineer to join the team.

The Role:
You will work on varied projects to support the delivery of manufacturing excellence and analyse ways to sustain the necessary performance in quality, output, cost, delivery and safety. This will involve analysis of capacity and production planning work scheduling and review of plant and production processes.

Candidate Requirements:
• Experience in working as a Production/Process Engineer with project management background is required.
• Experience gained within a Manufacturing and Assembly environment
• Can do” attitude with a strong ability to coach/lead individuals and teams
Proactive communicator with superb leadership skills and the ability to work in a team-focused environment.
• Adaptable and professional, you must also have the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Project Engineering / Process Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience will be a distinct advantage

Principal Accountabilities:

• Steer and assist the Production Team to install solutions to minimise and maximise production line availability by using data and OEE’s
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Implementing quality improvements within the business
• Developing and enhancing effective production and assembly processes
• To take a lead role in implementing improvements on the shop floor to maintain the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing and assembly cells.

The location
The firm is situated near to the M65 and is easily accessible from the motorway.

Hours of Work:
The role is working on days 8am to 4.30pm Monday To Friday and the salary is between £27k and £32K.
