Mechanical Site Manager (Residential)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of residential construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to manage and coordinate a team of professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

Plan, organize, and manage all mechanical aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion.
Create detailed project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
Monitor project budgets and control costs effectivel
Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
Provide guidance and direction to the team, ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
Mechanical System Design and Installation:

Evaluate project specifications and design mechanical systems that meet the needs of residential buildings.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify defects or issues.
Ensure the completion of snag lists and final inspections.
Materials and Procurement:

Coordinate with suppliers to source high-quality materials and equipment.
Manage procurement processes to optimize costs and delivery schedules.
Maintain inventory control and track material usage on-site.
Safety and Compliance:

Promote and enforce strict safety protocols on the construction site.
Ensure that all work is in compliance with relevant safety regulations.
Address and report any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager in the residential construction industry.
Strong project management skills and the ability to use project management software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in reading construction plans and specifications.
Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations.
Safety certifications
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Additional Information:

This is a full-time, on-site position.
Travel to various construction sites may be required.
The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license.
