Ambitek are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager for our client a well renowned firm across the globe & a leading firm within Doncaster.

They are a supply partner to some of the worlds biggest names operating in a number of industries from Automotive, Healthcare & Utilities.

As the Operations Manager your role will consist of:

Leading & managing the logistics operational team
Directly manage 3 Team Leaders & up to 30 subordinates from process leaders, supply chain planners, warehouse operatives
Ensuring KPIs & SLAs are achieved
Driving continuous improvement & service excellence through the operations
Building strong rapport with key stakeholders of the business including Head of Business Unit, Head of Logistics Operations, Materials Teams, Depot Operations Team
Planning and preparing for peaks and troughs of the business to meet customer demand
In this role you will be given the freedom to act accordingly to obtain the best results for the company.

Requirements for the role are:

Previous experience working within a management role within a warehouse environment
Ability to work under pressure and deal with difficult tasks as and when required
Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence customers & senior management
IT Literate (MS Office, Googlsheets etc)
The following is advantageous but not essential:

H&S Qualification
Experience in the Rail Sector
Six Sigma - Green Belt Qualified
UK Drivers Licence
Package on offer:

£40k Salary
37.5 hour week (Mon - Fri)
25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
