Ambitek are currently looking to recruit a Senior Buyer for our British Renowned Manufacturer within their field.

Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement you will be responsible for:

Support any PQQ activity (drafting responses to procurement related questions)
Produce material related to procurement /supply chain for proposals
Ensure the use of CL approved suppliers
Implement the specific tender procurement strategy
Write all procurement related tender approval documentation /submissions in support of the bid manager
Attend all necessary internal tender progress review meetings and report progress/status
Write CL procurement specifications as required
Ensure any necessary NDA’s are in place
Write enquiry documents/sourcing appropriate vendors and running competitive tenders
Organise supplier vessel visits with CL personnel
Manage the tender clarifications process with suppliers
Carry out formal tender assessments / normalisation of bids and ensure a full audit trail is available
Agree appropriate Ts and Cs/ contracting arrangements
Debrief unsuccessful suppliers
Produce “ready to go” subcontract agreements as necessary
Contribute to tender risk reviews /the tender risk register
For successful tenders, manage /lead on Supply Chain handover activity to the delivery team
Qualifications/Experience:

MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH HIGH VALUE “BESPOKE SERVICES” SUBCONTRACTOR PACKAGES

Technical/Engineering Degree or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)

MCIPS (Ideally)
