Our client are a large engineering firm with excellent facilities, opportunities to progress, salary and benefits package they are looking to recruit Inspectors to join their team.

You must be able to manually inspect components and operate a CMM machine to inspect components.

The role will involve:
-Using micrometres, Vernier’s and a Faro arm to inspect components
-Operating the CMM machine
-Produce dimensional reports
-Adhering to batch cards, drawings and specifications
-Maintaining health and safety standards
-Developing inspections plans with the Engineering team
-Additionally, you must be able to read and understand engineering drawings. Having previously worked in the Aerospace sector is an advantage.

The role is on the back shift, basic rate is £13.24 with shift premium on top:

Backs - 2pm til 10pm - 25% premium = £16.55 p/h

Overtime is available, paid at time and a half.

Benefits include 10% pension contribution, 10% salary death in service and medical benefits.

The company is located in Burnley.
