Our client based South of the Leeds city centre are looking to recruit 2 comissioning Engineers. There is a 45 hour working week with paid overtime available. The ideal candidate must live near an airport or channel tunnel.

Experience
-Experience of commissioning various types of equipment
-Willing and able to travel to customer sites both nationally and internationally
-An electrical background is essential
-Mechanical skills would be an advantage.
-PLC knowledge would be a benefit
-IT skills are essential
-Effective interpersonal relationship skills
-A proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities
-Have a flexible work attitude and be safety conscious

Qualifications
-Qualified to HNC level in a relevant electrical discipline
-The ideal candidate will have a ECS certificate, understand best practice for Health, Safety & -Environmental Issues and possess excellent communication skills at all levels.
-Gas Safe qualification would be an advantage
-Additional language skills would be an advantage

Brief Duties:
-To commission all of the company's products in different locations worldwide
-To modify software in accordance with instructions
-To have electrical wiring skills to modify and install equipment
-To set up and diagnose faults in PC networked systems
-To fault find on various electrical panels, switchgear and IT systems
-To train customers in the operation and maintenance of the equipment
-Communicate with Project Engineers / Managers regarding any related requirements or changes which require action
-Communicate effectively with clients
