Are you an experienced Furnace Operative?

If the answer is yes, then we may have the perfect role, we are currently recruiting for a global leading engineering firm in the North West and they are looking for an experienced furnace operator to join the growing team.

Why should you apply?
The client is offering between 19.5k and 21k per annum depending on experience this is inclusive of the shift allowance. The role will be permanent from day one. The client can offer some excellent benefits including excellent training, modern facilities, and on-site parking. The firm is located near the Trafford Centre and is quickly accessible from the motorway.

What experience you need to apply for this position
We are looking for experienced furnace operatives who have used push furnaces. Candidates will also be expected to work some CNC machinery including presses and milling machines but training can be given on these.

The role on offer
The role is working on a 2 shift system (mornings 6 am to 2 pm and afternoons 2 pm to 10 pm), the salary for the 2 shift role is between £20000 and £22000 with overtime on top which is paid on Monday to Friday one and a quarter basic rate, Saturdays are one and a half basic rate. Sundays are one and two thirds the basic rate. candidates need to be flexible during busy periods if required. candidates will be expected to complete all training on days which can take a few weeks. The position is subject to 2 work references being provided.
