Our client is a successful engineering company based in Nelson, they are now looking to recruit a Laser Setter/Operator to join their team.

You must have strong experience working with a Laser Cutting machine, having worked with a Mitsubishi Fibre laser machine would be an advantage.

The role will involve:
-Setting and Operating the laser machine
-Maintaining the machine to ensure minimum downtime
-Assisting with programming if required
-Adhering to company Health & Safety policy
-Carrying out quality checks and improving cut quality
-Also having an FLT license would be beneficial but not a necessity.

The working hours are 08.00 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday with a 14.00 finish on a Friday. Overtime is available when needed.

The pay rate on offer is between £12.50 and £13.50 per hour. Other benefits include:
