Are you an apprentice electrical maintenance engineer? Do you want excellent rates of pay and opportunities for regular overtime?

If the answer is yes, then we may have the perfect role, we are currently recruiting for a long-standing engineering firm in the North West and they are looking for a Time Served electrical maintenance engineer to join the growing team.

Why should you apply:?
Our client is offering a good hourly rate which is to be discussed on application. There is usually overtime on a Saturday at a time and a half and Sundays double time. There is also a call out rate if you are never needed out of hours but this is rare... The client can offer some excellent benefits including excellent training and job stability. The firm is ideally located near Bolton town center and is quickly accessible from the motorway and St Peters Way.

What experience you need to apply for this position:
We are looking for Apprentice trained electrical maintenance engineers, who come from a manufacturing/engineering environment. You will need your 16th or 17th editions as a minimum. You will need to be from an industrial environment as the environment is dirty and can contain fumes. So candidates need to be comfortable in this environment. You will be expected to do 70 percent electrical break down work with some very basic mechanical work. The client is looking for a candidate who is proactive and knows how to be compliant with HSE regulations and get the relevant paperwork completed for tasks. We are looking for people who have experience with presses, furnaces, extractors, compressors or hoppers.

The role on offer:
The position on offer is permanent from day one position. The hours of work are 6 am to 2.20pm Monday to Thursday and 6 am to 12.30pm on a Friday. The position is subject to 2 work references being provided.
