An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a small but busy precision parts manufacturing team as a Turning Programmer.

Working within the manufacturing team, the ideal candidate will support the company in meeting deadlines set by a wide range of customers from various sectors including aerospace and aviation.

Your main responsibility is to produce a high-quality product by Programming on Fanuc Controls, Setting and Operating CNC Lathes and ensuring quality workmanship.

You will be expected to maintain and improve productivity where possible, work in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.

You will also be expected to maintain set-up sheets as required and ensure that your work area is kept clean and tidy.

Although not essential, Cad and Cad-Cam experience would be beneficial.

The role, as well as the environment, will be challenging but the rewards are worth it with a basic rate potentially reaching £15.00 depending on experience and with overtime rates readily available and paid at a rate of time and a half, potential earnings are over £40,000 per year.

You will be expected to work 40 hours a week with shifts from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

The company is situated near to the M6 with easy access from the A41.
