Ambitek are currently looking to recruit an experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Stanlow

The Role:
As the Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will be expected to take responsibility of all maintenance at the companies production plant.

You will be involved in all stages of manufacturing, as you will be expected to implement efficient methods of maintaining new plant equipment as well as be involved within the installation & commissioning process.

You will also be expected to work with other stakeholders of the business in order to improve the facility, reduce breakdowns and develop new strategies to improve plant reliability & safety.

As well as maintenance of the site both Planned & Reactive, you will also be expected to:

- Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
- Plan & schedule planned and unplanned maintenance work
- Manage company maintenance database (Must have basic IT skills)
- Liaising with maintenance contractors - Leading, supervision etc.
- Purchase raw materials for any work that may be required to do on site
- Manage method statements, risk assessments & permits
- Implement & work with current Continuous Improvement projects

Experience:
- Time Served Qualifications or equivalent within Engineering
- 5 years experience with Maintenance - within a similar field to petrochem, oil & gas etc
- Hands on experience of managing both employed staff & contractors

Salary Package:
- Salary of up to £40k P/A dependant on experience
- Annual bonus of 10%
