Our client

Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm who have been around for over 50 years, they have a family friendly feel with events for the staff and an excellent staff retention rate. With 4 sites across the UK and an expanding order book now is a great time to join the growing business.

The role

The day to day duties of the role are varied and can offer candidates a variety in the work place, you will be operating machinery to produce wooden components this can be everything from CNC machinery to industrial ovens, and you can also be involved packing and warehouse work.

Pay/Shifts/Perks

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 14:55pm – 00:55am.

Pay starts at £14.88 rising to around £16 when all training is completed

The firm can offer excellent training in a variety of areas including CNC machining

What is required from you?

Be available to work permanent afternoons and be flexible if needed for overtime
Experience of working in a LEAN manufacturing environment
Experience of working with production machinery (not food environment)
Be able to work in hot and cold environments as there ovens on the shop floor and roller shutter to let deliveries in and out
PC literate
