Do you want to work for a large engineering firm? Do you want to see different countries? Our client have modern facilities and are growing year on year. They are now looking to recruit a skilled electrical fitters to join the team

The role

We are looking for someone who is a time served electrical fitter who can assemble the electrical components of capital machinery from drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for control electrical fitting & panel wiring of interconnections between panels and electric motors.

• Working to detailed drawings and schematics.

• Wiring 3 phase motors connecting mains power to test machines & carrying out modifications to control panels from schematic drawings

• Wiring switches and gauges.

• Running cable and fitting cable tray conduit and trunking and other various fitting duties.

• Cable management and termination

• Be proactive for the continual improvement of processes.

• Report any issues (i.e. health and safety/quality) to your Line Manager.

• Ensure safe working practices wherever applicable.

• Maintain clear/safe working areas and walkways.

The location

The firm is situated near to the M65 and is quickly accessible directly from the motorway.

Job details

This is a permanent vacancy with plenty of overtime & the option of working abroad. An additional £35 per day is paid when working away plus travel time & all expenses are covered.

Pay Rates:
£14.23 per hour (PAYE)

Skilled rate £14.23 per hour on 36 hour week

OT up to 46 hours’ time and half

OT over 46 hours double time

Opportunity to work abroad
