Our client are a medium sized engineering firm who are looking for an experienced mechanical Pump Fitter to join the team on a permanent basis.

The work may involve going to site and install and fitting a variety of valves/ pumps and ancillary equipment, all expenses are paid.

Day to day duties of the Pump Fitter will include :
- Dismantle rotating equipment to component level.
- Compile detailed condition reports on equipment dismantled.
- Fault-finding on break down equipment.
- Assemble equipment using engineering drawings or experience/knowledge.
- Interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, schematics, and repair equipment, utilising specialist knowledge and standard test instruments and tools.

This Pump Fitting role is 37.5 hours per week on days from Monday to Friday 7:30am- 4pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays. Plenty of overtime is available paid at time half and a time, double time on a Sunday. Hourly rate is be discussed at interview.
