Production Operative:

Our client, based in Staffordshire is looking to recruit a key team member for their Production department.

The person should have a good understanding of Health & Safety Procedures.
The person should have experience gained within a steel stockholder / manufacturer.
The person should have previous experience setting and operating machinery.
The person should have experience using an overhead crane.
This position is a great opportunity to develop within a growing company, in a specialist market.
The person should have excellent time keeping, and time management skills.
Requirements:

Must be motivated.
Must be a team player.
Able to read a Micrometre / Vernier. (In House Training Available).
Be Capable of Completing documentation. (Complete In House Training provided).
Complete general housekeeping.
Have Production Background in Steel or Stainless Steel would be advantageous.
Qualifications, such as Overhead Crane, First Aid, and Fire Marshall would be considered an advantage.
Must be capable of keeping material identified at all Times.
Reporting to your line manager on a daily basis, updated progress information.
All the above duties are to be undertaken in accordance with our ISO9001 Quality system and current standard operating procedures.

Hours of Work:
Mon – Thurs – 7.00 – 4.30pm.
Friday – 7.00 – 1.00pm.
Overtime available paid at time and a half

Pay Rate:
£11.50 - £12.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
